What is Shadow Line Cladding made from? Millboard's Shadow Line Cladding consists of a blend of natural minerals in a polymer resin. This makeup provides multiple benefits to your cladding, such as weather resilience, moisture resistance and increased thermal performance. Combine that with an extended fibre reinforcement, and you're investing in a robust and stylish cladding designed to last up to 25 years. How to maintain your Shadow Line Cladding The unique surface of this cladding offers a tough and more resistant finish to minimise scratches and withstand external elements. The specific dual-tone colour pigments are used to create an authentic finish and improve resistance to sun fading and damage. This means your cladding requires little maintenance! If you spot a stain or it becomes dirty due to weather conditions, soapy water with a sponge will do the trick. Clean from top to bottom, following the wood grain for the best results. What are the weight and dimensions of Shadow Line ? One of its benefits is that it's incredibly lightweight, at 12.7kg per m2. This makes it easy to handle, manoeuvre, and install. Each board measures 200mm x 18mm x 3600mm and is available in a range of colours. This includes Antique Oak, Golden Oak, Burnt Cedar, and Smoked Oak, with matching facias, edging, and decking. How is the cladding tested? Our Millboard cladding is rigorously tested to meet the demands of BS EN 13501-1; the system achieves a classification of Euroclass D. In addition, they're made with fire retardants within the board composition, which has been tested to meet all regulations. Shadow Line is suited to low-rise residential and commercial properties below 11m in height and more than 1m away from a boundary (subject to building control and regulations).
